Good food for a good price. Cheesy bread was much larger than I expected and a good starter. Server saw us deliberating over which pie to order and allowed us the option to do a half and half so we could try multiple. Ended up with the Pink Piggy and the Bees Knees; the use of honey for both pizzas was a really unique choice that brought a nice contrast to a regular pizza.

Taverna Rossa was such an awesome find! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was electric. The live music was fantastic, and you could tell everyone was having a great time. It felt like the perfect mix of fun and relaxing, with so many tables laughing and enjoying themselves. Our server Brayden was amazing—super friendly, quick, and had great suggestions for us. Since it was our first visit, they gave us free queso, which was such a nice surprise. We started with the Fritos and queso, and wow, it was way better than we expected. Such a creative and delicious twist. For our main dish, we split a pizza with two different halves. The Pink Piggy was absolutely incredible. It was our favorite and definitely something we will order again. The other half was the monthly People’s Pie, and while I cannot remember the exact name, it was just as tasty. We loved that they let us mix and match on one pizza. The drinks were just as impressive. I had the house Cabernet, which was great, and my girlfriend had the Rossa Rita. She gave it a perfect ten and said it was one of the best cocktails she’s had in a long time. They also have a fantastic beer selection if cocktails and wine are not your thing.Between the amazing service, the fun atmosphere, and the delicious food and drinks, this place is a total win. We cannot wait to come back!

Taverna Rossa in Plano is such a great spot for an evening out! The atmosphere was warm and energetic, and the service was absolutely top-notch. Our server, Brayden, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, which really made the experience even better. We tried The People’s Pie and The Pink Piggy, and both pizzas were amazing. The flavors were bold and fresh, and the crust had just the right amount of crispiness. The Pink Piggy especially stood out with its sweet and savory toppings—so unique and delicious! The drink menu is also a highlight. I had The Rossa Rita, made with RG Pueblo Viejo tequila, orange juice, lemon, and a sangria float, with a Tajín rim that added the perfect spicy kick. It was so refreshing and paired perfectly with the food.If you’re looking for amazing pizza, creative cocktails, and outstanding service, Taverna Rossa is the place to go. I can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu!

Bf and I waited for about min after getting on the waitlist. We were first greeted by the GM who offered us free queso for being first time visitors. The queso came with Fritos. We then shared the family dinner with a Caesar salad and the original Rossa pizza. The dinner also came with a pretzel. The pretzel was decently good but tasted more like garlic bread. The Caesar salad was yummy and a bit sharper than a normal Caesar. The pizza was alright. Good toppings, but slightly too many of them (toppings falling off all over the place!) and a mediocre crust. Can’t really complain for $, and very friendly service. I wasn’t super excited about the food, but it was by no means bad.Parking: Crowded on a Friday night! Had to park somewhat far and walk.
